Thank you for your interest in the Kasasa community! Kasasa has two blogs: the Kasasa Exchange blog, a B2B blog for community banks and credit unions, and the Kasasa Blog, a B2C blog for consumers.

We strive to ensure these sites are useful and positive places for all readers. So you'll understand if we're a bit particular about guest posting requests. Please review the entirety of these guidelines, as they should answer any question you have about the kind of content we're looking for and how the submission process works.

Basic Tenets

Both Kasasa blogs focus on the world of finance, from two different perspectives.

Kasasa Exchange is a fintech and marketing tech blog that includes relevant content on training and retaining successful financial services teams, financial services compliance and regulation, lending, social media for bankers and credit union leadership, and the Kasasa B2B community.

 

The Kasasa Blog spotlights lifestyle topics with an undercurrent of financial content, such as debt management, building savings, getting the best deal on financial services, household budgeting, and money relationships.

 

Your successful guest-blogger contributions will:

 

• Fall into one or more of the categories mentioned above;
• Have a factual foundation with relevant, trustworthy, compelling data that's properly sourced and cited;
• Be original concepts that are impeccably researched, written, and proofread;
• Educate our readership; and
• Not be an advertisement for you or your brand or business.

 

We also look for a few things in everything we publish:

 

• Third-party quotes that are verified and properly attributed;
• A minimum of 1,200 words;
• A writing style that mirrors our own voice and tone;
• Previously unpublished work; and
• No more than one link to your company's website in the body of the post.
• Providing examples of suggested images is encouraged. If you'd like to include your own images, please provide proof of ownership. Optimal image size is 1140 x 500 pixels.

 

We will never accept any content that:

 

• May be construed as a link-building scheme;
• Is too promotional for your company or organization;
• Could be offensive;
• Is inaccurate;
• Is overly critical of individuals, organizations, philosophies, or companies; or
• Has appeared on our site(s) before.

Submissions

Please email social [at] kasasa [dot] com with the following:

 

• An article outline detailing your proposed topic, thesis, two or more substantiating facts and their sources, and suggested links to existing Kasasa content. OR
• A completed post as a Word or HTML file.
• Image files with attribution
• 120-word or less author bio
• Text link to your website

 

If your article meets editorial standards and aligns with our content strategy, we will respond to let you know your article will be published. That process may take up to 2 weeks. We cannot respond to all submissions; if your post is not accepted for publication, you may not hear from us. However, we will do your best to communicate in either case.

The final word

• In order to be considered for publication, all submissions must meet Kasasa quality and policy standards.
• We reserve the right to edit your submission for voice and style.
• We reserve the right to request that you edit for accuracy and guideline adherence.
• We reserve the right to alter content in the future without contacting you.
• We reserve the right to include links and calls to action in the content we publish.
• You may not republish your Kasasa guest post to your own blog, other sites, or social media once it is published to a Kasasa property.
• Feel free to link to your published post from any of those channels with an abstract of no more than 240 characters. Please attribute Kasasa as the source.
